A new building in the North Infill area.  The size, height and bulk of this building is very detrimental to it's neighboring single family home.  The homeowner was forced to use legal means to keep the developer from tearing up his driveway.  This house borders commercial zoning - but a building similar to this can be built in the middle of residential Infill zoning areas.  At this time developers are not required to show existing properties and the effects of new buildings on neighbors when submitting plans and applying for permits.

New construction in East Infill area.  Height , bulk, design and proximity to neighboring structures in inconsistent with existing historic neighborhood.  Under the current infill ordinance, a building of this size can be built on the property line.  Many of the area homes are on modest size lots 40-50' wide.  A new building of this size and height can be built as little at 24 inches from a single family home.
